Public Design Exhibition Drop-in Events

Happy New Year all!

Thank you to all those who completed our surveys about the proposed changes to the Deptford Parks Liveable Neighbourhood area. We received 183 responses across the two surveys about Sir Francis Drake Play Street and Woodpecker Walk/Canal Approach and received strong support for all proposed interventions.

We held four public co-design workshops where residents, parents and school children were able to input their local knowledge and share their views to help us shape the proposals for the DPLN area

Following on from the perception survey and engagement events, we would like to invite you to come along to one of our public exhibition drop-in events.

We will be sharing our design ideas so far for Canal Approach, Rolt Street, Woodpecker Road and Sir Francis Drake Play Street on Scawen Road that have been inspired by your feedback from the surveys, co-design workshops and meetings held over the past couple of months. We will be asking for your comments and feedback on the proposals and if there are any improvements we can make to them.

Please come and share your views at one of the following events;

  • Wednesday 23rd January from 6:30 - 8:30pm at Festa Sul Prato , 222 Trundleys Road, London SE8 5JE
  • Tuesday 29th January from 3:00 - 4:30pm at Sir Francis Drake Primary School , Scawen Road, SE8 5AE.
  • We hope to see you there.
